Foothills Academy is an independent, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade day school located in Wheat Ridge, CO. Accredited by the Association of Colorado Independent Schools, Foothills Academy was founded in 1984 by area parents and teachers committed to the unique vision of this school.

School Announcements 2010 AUCTION - DRAGON NIGHT! Full details of our upcoming annual auction are available here! Please come out on February 20 for fun, food and, most importantly, to support the Foothills Academy community fund raising effort! CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS With the auction fast approaching we are in need of volunteers to help with set-up on Friday the 19th from 9-3, two or three people to help with name tags & pass out gift certificates the night of, and a group to help with clean-up on Sunday the 21st from 9:00-1:00. We are looking forward to yet another wonderful auction, but do rely on your support to pull it all off. Please contact Cori Churchey if you would like to volunteer for one of the times above. 5 - 12 Winter Concert The 5th-12th grade winter concert is Wednesday, February 10th at 6:30. The concert will take place at Community of Christ Church on the corner of 38th and Ward (Map). This evening will have performances by all the bands and choirs in grades 5 -12 including Miller Street Melody and On the Map. It will also include individual performances by the 7/8 keyboard students. Your kids have been hard at work preparing and this promises to be lovely and entertaining evening. Please let Angie know at alangeliers@foothills-academy.org if your performer cannot attend. 5/6 Foothills Pride Elective Project Haiti Bake Sale The 5/6 students will be selling $1.00 homemade snacks on Tuesday Feb 9th - Thursday Feb 11th, at break, lunch, and pick-up times. Snacks will also be sold at the 5-12 Winter Concert on Wednesday Feb 10th. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross in support of Haiti. Please send your child with money for the sale, or if you are interested in baking and supplying snacks to sell on a given day, please e-mail Corey at summer@foothills-academy.org Presidents' Day Weekend Please remember that the school and all offices will be closed Friday, February 12th and Monday, February 15th in observance of Presidents' Day.
