The Ninth through Twelfth Grade College and Career Guidance Program at Foothills Academy facilitates each students evaluation of personal strengths and lifelong aspirations. It guides students through the varied components of the post-high-school process:
- Introduction to essential college and career information and post-high-school opportunities
- Identification of potential colleges
- Preparation for testing and interviews
- College visits
- Completion of college applications
- College selection
- And the transition from high school to college and other post-high-school plans.

| In the keeping with the schools mission, the many facets of the program are tailored developmentally to each grade level and integrated throughout the curriculum. The emphasis is on problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. While the school provides guidance and support, it recognizes that successful plans for the future are dependent upon student initiative and responsibility, as well as parent support and participation. See the College Acceptances page for more about Foothills Academy graduates looking toward the future. |
